Born on February 23, 1988 in Newark, New Jersey. I was just a baby moving to Dothan, Alabama. Janet Marie Gilbert is what my mother named me. Named after my grandmother, I am almost just like her so the name was fitting. I was raised to have values and stand strong by them. Put people first and always to give. Being taught those things led me to pursue a social work degree at the illustrious Alabama State University located in Montgomery,Alabama.

I have a strong desire to inspire others as well as encourage them, my main reason for beginning this journey called “blogging.” My greatest blessings call me “mom.” I live my life strictly for my 3 children. I have to set a strong positive example for others, so they can tell the world that their mommy is not only a great parent but a motivator and an inspiration to others!
